First Animation

My most recent artistic venture, a simple looping animation focusing heavily on transitions. Overwhelming, I know, for the first thing I've uploaded in over a year.

So, all you animation pros out there, feel free to leave any tips you might have regarding the few transition effects used here in the comments. What I'd like is to get the looping less obvious and smoothen the effect where the character fades in each cycle.
